Technology Changes Peace Corps Experience

Hi everyone.
The reason I chose this article is because when I saw this article, I was pleased that volunteer work is being well forward thanks to technology.
This article says about the development of communication technology in volunteer work all over the world. Volunteer staffs compare technology in these days with in the 70s or 80s or the early 90s. In the 70s or 80s or the early 90s, communication technology – for example, cell phones and computers – didn’t very develop. So, staffs couldn’t communicate with their family and friends. But, these days, thanks to their, they can communicate with their anytime.

Do you think that it is necessary to develop such technology more? Why?
I hope that such technology is developed. Because, if we can’t stay with family and friends, communicating with their give power to us. But, communicating by the technology with people that you can meat at once is not so good.

    Developing technology as communication tool is so good. I think communication with others who meet first time is difficult a little, so I hope such technology develop more, too.

    Wherever we are, it is important for us to communicate with family and friends.So I hope such technology develop more and think that it will develop more.

  3. It is good that technology has made communication easier and more convenient. I do worry, however, that sometimes it is making us lazy and we are losing some of our communication skills!!
